The Missing Heart
1st Story
The Missing Heart is the first book written by Nathan. He wrote it during the early months of 2026 after being inspired to write M/M Romance - while tying it to a mystery that drives the story and keeps you reading. JMS Books took him up on publishing it, and released it on the 29th of April, 2026.
Romance and Thriller
Nathan grew up watching actor David Suchet in Agatha Christie's Poirot - this instilled in him a deep love of a good mystery. After reading Rachel Reid's Game Changers series, he was inspired to mix this love with a romance, and the Missing Heart was born.
Mixing themes
Gay Love
Two men, one who lost his love (Max) and the other who is open to something new (Charlie), are the two main characters. They must both trust each other and learn from the other in order to survive and thrive.
A Thrill
Important to the central story, is a serial killer with ties to Max's past. When this killer's threat returns and affects Charlie, the both must understand what they are fully getting into in order to solve where Charlie's missing best friend is located.
A new future
There is power in understanding where you came from - there is also power in knowing you can restart with the lessons learned. Especially for LGBT individuals, this is a skill that can lead to increased happiness and a safer community.
